This year has been marked by an increase in the number of shows NFDOG has attended. As well as the three-day New Forest Show, we had a stand at Sway, Tiptoe, Burley and Ellingham shows, and recruited some 100 new members. It's also a key way the committee can keep in touch with members (and all other dog owners) and find out what's of interest or concern to them, and discuss the group's new activities such as the recently launched phone app. 

One problem we noticed though was that our 10+ years old gazebo was falling apart. This coincided with a generous £1000 bequest from our co-founder Pauline Ludlow, who herself really enjoyed the shows NFDOG attended. So £700 of the bequest has been spent on a new gazebo - complete with sign writing.

Committee members and partners gathered to 'unveil' the new gazebo in Chair Heather Gould's back garden, where Pauline's son Tim Ludlow cut the ribbon for us (pictured). You'll see this at more shows next year - do come and say hello!
