STUCK FOR A GIFT? NOT ANY MORE |

Loyal NFDOG members Maureen and Barry Penfound solved a Christmas gift problem in a novel way. They gave Fritham neighbours Gary and Tricia Russell joint membership of NFDOG for a year. Maureen said she knew that the Russell’s supported NFDOG but had never quite got round to joining and so a year’s membership made an ideal present. Tricia said: “We were very pleased with the gift. I have had a membership application form to fill in for some time, but it stayed in the ‘things to do’ tray.” The Russell’s have three cocker spaniels and a golden retriever. Said Tricia: “We support NFDOG over the right to walk well controlled dogs off lead. It would be a disaster if we could not do that.” Membership Secretary Penny Gayler said: “This is an excellent way of coming up with an unusual Christmas or birthday gift and helping NFDOG at the same time. We hope it catches on with other members.” |
